This section will hopefully have the answers to most questions that are raised by new or infrequent users of Syllabus Plus at QUT. If you have a question that is not addressed in these pages, please contact the Site Webmaster.

Data Entry Basics

When you are working with Syllabus Plus data there are only two activities-entering new data or modifying existing data. There are only two important keyboard commands associated with these activities:

Entering new data
  • Enter the data in the appropriate fields
  • Press CTRL+D
Modifying data
  • Click on the item in the Home List
  • Change the data as required
  • Press CTRL+M

Remember

To select a list - Hold down the CTRL key and click on all of the items to be included in the list.
To de-select something-Hold down the CTRL key and click on all of the items to be de-selected.
