These basic instructions assume that you have a reasonable understanding of
Syllabus Plus and Excel, and have a standard configuration on your personal
computer.
| 1. Display the Activities window |
Menus = Timetable, Activities |
- Filter Activities by your Department.

Menus = View, Filter |
| 2. Save in a Spreadsheet format |
Menus = File, Save and select Format
Spreadsheet |
- Use the QUT School Timetable template
|
(If you don't have this template, see the instruction
page "Load Print Template") |
- Select Viewed Objects and Include File Header
|
|
- Save the file with a suitable name in an appropriate directory.
|
A suitable name would be xx999999.txt where xx is your School or faculty
and 999999 is the date you printed the timetable e.g. JS010913.txt is
the timetable file for Justice Studies that is saved on 13 September 2001.
An appropriate directory would be
C:\splus353\data\Semester_X where X is the semester
e.g. Semester_1

Format the spreadsheet as required.
