The University has several hundred locations which are used for teaching and other related activities. It is important that we know how effectively and efficiently these locations are utilised.

It is also important to how well we plan for classes in forthcoming teaching periods. The timetable each semester is published at a time which permits continuing students to be informed of class schedules when selecting the courses in which to enrol. Because continuing students will use the timetable to make enrolment decisions, changes to the timetable after publication should be kept to a minimum.
